The wind swept gently across the plains just south of West city as the long travel began to burden Brolli so he sat under a coconut tree with a great view of the city. Looking out the heat was immense and even for a Saiyajin of his level it was draining, something out of a bad dream. "Im hungry" he moans as his belly rumbled "No food in sight..I hate this wretched planet!" he slammed his fist on the ground and was suddenly struck in the back of the head. Rolling over and spinning around he came up to one knee aiming his hand in the direction of the strike, but there was nothing, no sign of anyone."Arrghh COME OUT you coward and face me like a man!". Suddenly looking down he noticed the culprit, a large coconut that had apparently cracked on his head on impact. "FOOD!" rushing over to the fruit he grabbed it and was just about to take a bite when a massive explosion errupted behind him sending smoke billowing up in the air and suddenly his Saiyajin blood over took him and food mattered no more as he turned to face the chaos. Snagging a piece of coconut he took off towards West City with anticipation..."I wonder...Kakarot?".."KAKAROT!!" his aura flared and his speed increased as he would reach the city soon just a few more minutes..

In the city, she was at a buffet, lunch in. It had been awhile since she had treated herself to a lunch. It was always here cooking. Not only was she a great chef, but she had to train too. It was hard being a woman in this modern day because one was expected to do everything. Shaking her head, she had to remove those stressful thoughts out of her mind. The lunch was a nice treat for her deserving, hard work. Grabbing a fork and knife politely, she started to cut away at the steak and noodles she had ordered. She was the expertise on eating politely even in at a buffet place. Of course, she got stares because of her neat eating habits, but she hadn't cared. With a napkin on her lap, it was almost like she was at a five star hotel. "This is delicious. I definitely should get the recipe to this, but it isn't quite as good as what I cook." She said proudly.

Pikkon awoke to the sound of the explosion. He slowly sat up in his hammock, high above the ground, and stretched, flexing muscles rippling under the skin of his thin frame as he turned to see the mushroom cloud left behind. It was hot. He had been traveling at night for days on his way to West City, and he stopped just short of his destination that morning to catch up on rest before facing the hordes of "normal" people and doing what little business he came to do before heading to his actual destination.
Grabbing his bag, which he had tied to a tree, he hopped out of his hammock, some 40 feet above the ground, and fell straight toward the Earth in a straight, standing position. Nearby squirrels watched and flinched, waiting for the thud to come. Ten feet above the ground, though, he began to slow until he gently landed, legs spread, arms outstretched, yawning and twisting, loosening his tense muscles.
"Can't get within ten miles of this wretched metropolis without something blowing up." he said, sarcastically before popping his neck and knuckles. "Nothing ever changes. No matter, though. I suppose I'll make some lucky news reporter famous today." His voice trailed off into a groan as he stretched again. Reaching into his bag, he pulled out a small pouch and emptied it into his hand. He held up his hand with a grunt as he examined the single senzu bean. "No food in two days and this is the feast I've earned for my work." With a smile, he tilted his head back and dropped the bean into his mouth, swallowing and washing it down with a little water.
Instantly, he felt the rush in his body. He was full of energy and revitalized in a way that made him happy and fresher than he'd felt in weeks. Those beans are truly something, he thought. It's a shame that was my last.
Pausing to take in the beautiful view around him, he took a deep breath and smelled the air, only slightly tainted with the city's smog from this distance. It's not so bad here, he thought. The squirrels watched from the trees as he stood there, silent and still, basking in the warmth. And then without warning, as quickly as he had arrived the night before, he was gone. The squirrels looked blankly at the spot he had stood moments before, but no trace of him remained. Pikkon, his bag, and his hammock were packed and nearing the giant city, looking for the cause of the explosion that had awakened him, hoping to find an old friend or even foe to reacquaint himself with before he went about his chores.

Quickly approaching the city he was three maybe four miles away but this was nothing to get there by foot. The closer he got his right eye began to slightly twitch and the precense of others in the area was apparent. He began getting bored with his normal stride so he proceeded to take lunging strides left...right...left.. Just a little over a mile now and the stench of dust, fear, confusion, and destruction polluted the air but Brolli welcomed this and quite liked it. A couple hundred yards now.. He powered down in an attempt to hide himself not knowing if anyone around could sense him or not but his blood boiled. Was there a warrior here that was stronger than him? He laughed at the idea, but was it funny? Maybe Kakarot.."mm..Kakarot.." his anger began to take over. He must control himself..
FINALLY, he arrived behind a old appartment complex and peered around the corner, but it was calm. The stillness deafened his ears but across the way he could make out fire, smoke, and people scrambling around. He proceeded witch caution..This is what the Saiyajin way is, for strength, for power, for glory. Then it happened again he sensed other capable warriors in the vicinity so he hid in the shadows and waited.

There was a delighted smile upon her face. The noodles and steak were delicious and exactly what she needed away from her stressful life. As she enjoyed herself at the buffet, she heard faint yelling outside from an apparent explosion. Since she wasn't neither a crime fighter nor a hero, she remained calmly in her seat. She was well capable of defending herself when the time had come for it, but as far as being a hero, she hadn't liked her fellow people as much as most heroes would. It's not that she hadn't cared, yet they weren't family members. Not to mention, it was likely just some normal delinquents causing problems. She figured the cops could handle teen delinquents that weren't raised properly by their parents.
"There is no way I am going out there today. It is my first day in the city. After this, I am going shopping." She wanted to keep herself from going outside and investigating. This trip to the city was for her to relax and have fun. Once she went outside, there was no telling what or who she may find, therefore, she kept in her seat and waited for the dessert to arrive.

Slowly he crept through bushes, behind abandoned vehicles, and eased through the shadows until he could feel the heat from the flames. He sat and listened but there was no sound other than the occasional crackle from the burning rubble. It was waaaaay to quiet he thought but he was never a silent warrior anyways so he couldn't blame whoever or whatever it was. The sweat was slowly sliding down the side of his face losing the inevedable battle to gravity. For such a weak, dumpy place the temperatures here were astoundingly high he though. Then he could hear distant machine gun fire.. "I must maintane" The strain of hiding his power was getting harder as he hadn't mastered this skill and his body was beginning to condensate, but through all this he remained true and lurked silently just waiting for the right moment to strike, the right moment to claim victory.

Pikkon flew high above the tallest buildings of West City as he relaxed and focused his mind, taking in every bit of information he could gather with his senses at this power. There were many strong life forces in the vicinity, at least five of them much stronger than a normal human in great form. This was unheard of. Sometimes a human would become amazingly strong for his race, but never had he seen so many of this amazing strength together. He tried to focus on the exact location of the strongest people in relevance to the site of the explosion, which he was now flying past at high speed, though only using a fraction of his full strength. Passing on the right and circling to the left, his senses took only moments to hone in on several of the stronger beings in a goup. They were several hundred yards from the explosion and moving away from it slowly. He could see them clearly as he slowed and turned tighter, adjusting his course toward them. A group of eight men, total. They were humans, carrying weapons and armor that seemed very fancy and very powerful, and they were making away with something small. He couldn't tell what, but a quick look around told him he was in an area dominated by warehouses owned by a technology company and a few simple shops, apartments, and restaurants.
This must be a high class robbery, Pikkon thought. I haven't seen thugs making a getaway dressed like that unless it was serious. Who are these guys?
Pikkon lowered his head and increased his speed, planning to land behind the group and ambush them, giving him a chance to steal their loot and find out what they could be after that could be so important before anyone else had a chance to get in the way. His senses flared and his power level shot up immensely in only a few seconds as he balled his fists and prepared for a fight. Instinctively, his he focused his senses as far as he could in every direction to check his surroundings before setting his full focus on his targets, and something caught his attention that made him immediately turn and quickly fly over the tops of several buildings, landing a few streets over in a small alley.
The strongest of the energies he had felt was not a threat to him, even if there were ten of them. It was alone near the edge of the smoldering debris of the flames. The power level was fluctuating a little in a strange way, and he assumed it must be another of the tough-guy criminals who was somehow incapacitated in the heist and left behind, but just as he had swooped down behind the group, he felt such an extremely fast, insanely powerful flare of power from that being that he actually broke a sweat as he landed in the dark alley. Something was very wrong here. Either those robbers were using some crazy technology to make them stronger and it was making his senses react strangely or the energy from the one being he sensed was much stronger than even he was.
The crooks are getting away, he thought, and with the gear they've got and the way they're organized, I have a feeling they won't mind killing the cops when they get here, but I can't stop them until I know what this thing is.
The power level was normal again, but still fluctuating. Jumping silently and easily over the tall fence in the alley, he eased his way back toward the explosion, sensing movement in the being that spooked him. Pikkon knew he could be in for a very serious fight now, and steeled himself. This is what he lived for. His mind was in overdrive, his body moved smoothly with strength, his mouth was set in a smirk of enjoyment, and his eyes were cold, calculating, and ever-moving.
"Ahhh," he said quietly to himself. "Now I'm awake."

The intensity she felt outside had begun to unsettle her stomach. While eating, she noticed that several people were running on the sidewalk away from the explosion. She chewed calmly despite everyone overreaction to what may have been a simple fire. She started to think differently though as her in-depth senses picked up on strange, yet overpowering life forces that were coming from outside. Her father was a student of the famous Master Roshi who was able to go beyond the normal human capacity in both fighting and strengths. Though she had not, yet mastered using KI, she was well capable of sensing it.
"No, I am not going outside. I want to sit here and enjoy my nice buffet. A woman like me deserves a treat. It's my first day off in a long time so no....no troublemakers for me" She said to herself. Meanwhile, some of the people inside the buffet restaurant were leaving tips and barging out the door. Eventually, she'd become the only remaining customer who was brave enough to deal with whatever was going outside. She had no other place to be anyway. With that thought in mind, she took another bite of her egg roll.

Watching the warrior as he landed near by he could sense a respectable energy level radiating from him and this he could respect. Now turning to square up with him as to avoid a blind side attack (although Brolli could sense some honor in this one) he braced himself. The drama going on that had originally caught his attention now had take a back seat to this warrior who now had his full attention. Crossing his arms and speaking boldy his voice rang out "And you are?". Feeling his cover had now been blown he wiped the sweat from his fore head and let his full power show even though he didn't like this because it took away the element of suprise. Brollis hair begain to slightly wave with a calming clear aura.

Moving swiftly and silently, Pikkon knew immediately that surprise was not an option when he heard the young, strong voice of a warrior looking for a fight and felt the power level he'd been tracking jump up twenty-fold and stabilize. Even as a man who searched out moments like this, he might have been afraid had it not been for his experience in battle.
Great fighters spend more time carefully approaching their opponents than actually fighting them, he remembered from his lessons as a boy. Always keep a clear head and never stop strategizing.
This was going to be serious, even if it didn't end in a fight. He had been spotted by someone stronger than himself and knew he couldn't escape. He wouldn't run, anyway. He never ran from a chance to test himself against a real fighter. He had defeated many opponents stronger than himself, some even stronger than the man he now faced, and he was sure that he could hold his ground if it came to it. He was fearless as he quickly crossed the street and made his way through the alley into the square where the explosion had happened, stepping out several feet into the open, in full view of the man who had spotted him. His actions showed none of his feelings as he planted his feet and easily crossed his arms. His smile got a little brighter and his power level spiked, jumping to three-fourths power when he realized what he had found.
It was a Saiyan. He was an average Saiyan, by most accounts. He looked like the rest of them, had the same tail, and the same arrogant smirk that so many of their conceited race seemed to carry, believing themselves invincible after generations of terrorizing planets full of weak beings. He was a strong Saiyan, but it would take a thousand of him to topple the greatest of his race. As the man looked him over, his face contorted into one of confusion. After a few seconds, Pikkon spoke.
"Expecting someone else?" Pikkon asked cooly and defiantly in a full, resonant voice.
Just then, a loud burst of machine gun fire came from several blocks down, followed by several others in rapid succession. Pikkon didn't react visibly, but he knew the situation was getting worse. The panicked screams of the pedestrians could be heard in a rumble, just as a packed stadium might sound during an excited moment, but the energy was different. This was not an electric, excited scream of cheering. These were screams of agony, death, and mortal fear. Many of those people would never be the same.
I don't have time to waste, Pikkon thought. I have to figure out who this Saiyan is and what he's about before those crooks cause too much trouble. People are dying and something tells me he's not going to volunteer to help. I'll have to make this quick and get to the bottom of this before something else goes wrong.
"I am Pikkon," he said in a friendly way, but nearly shouting at the Saiyan across the square. "I was passing through. What's your business here?"
Pikkon stood perfectly still, already prepared for anything that may come. His body looked relaxed and calm, but his senses were working as fast as they could, taking in everything in every direction. His eyes constantly scanned the Saiyan. His breathing was deep and easy, his mouth still set in an intimidating smirk that showed no fear and seemed to hide powerful secrets behind it. It was these moments that made him feel truly alive.

Wiping off her lips as she finished eating dinner, two men caught her attentiom. They stood in front of the restaurant. She was invisible to them because she was well seated at the back of the buffet place. However, the clear, tinted glass allowed her to spy pn the two individuals. They stuck out to her because they were the only two who weren't running like everyone else.
"How weird" She muttered to herself. A waitress placed a cup of hot chocolate next to her.
"Thank you" She said to the waitress automatically and respectfully.
Her eyes were set on the two who looked like they were cowboys in old western movies about to shoot it out. What caught her attention was the green man.
"Is that King Piccolo?" For her, King Piccolo was a folk tale and a horror story told by the villagers. Sipping on her hot chocolate, she then studied the other man. He was tall and different from most humans. Being the daughter of an Ox Giant, she thought nothing more about his distinct features.
"I guess troublemakers and deliquents come in all shapes, sizes...and colors" She commented to herself. Whatever they were about to do, she would keep her distance. After all, it was her day off.

"I Expected as much, no more, no less". He could tell Pikkons focus was compromised by the event taking place across the way. This would play to his advantage. The evil in his heart got the better of him. "I tell you what, you seem confident and I aim to check that". Brolli started slowly toward Pikkon powering up two base ball sized energy balls in each palm. "You seem like the hero type so we will play a game". His slug-like stride kept a constant pace, mesmerizing in its way. Then.. holding both hands open, palms facing Pikkon, the two blast rapidly released in a chaotic rotating pattern before seperating. One blast slammed in the building some distance off, the sound of twisting metal echoed through the streets. The other blast headed directly for Pikkon.
"Hahaha..hero..what will it be, your skin or that of your fellow man?." Suddenly the effected building swayed and buckled slightly at the base, engulfing the surrounding blocks with dust and debris. ::This is my chance Brolli though::. Quickly gathering his energy, his speed increased, and he blurred past Pikkon slamming through the old abandoned warehouse wall next door leaving a massive hole glowing red around the rim. It was now a game of hide and seek.

Pikkon didn't think his words were reason for confrontation, but he was ready, nonetheless. He was torn between his two options, but he decided quickly what to do. If he dodged the energy blast, it would fly through the building behind him and probably kill several people inside. That wasn't acceptable. Jumping forward with a rush of focused KI in his hands, he raised his arms and grabbed the speeding ball, redirecting it past him and through a building behind him, but at an upward angle, only doing damage to the building, the energy dissipating as it forced its way through the steel and concrete.
Without slowing, Pikkon instantly shot toward the building. He knew the Saiyan wasn't far away, but he would deal with him when he had time. The building was beginning to topple. There were no longer any pedestrians in this area, but the criminals were holed up behind a makeshift barricade of cars, holding off the police, who were returning fire desperately from a short distance away, just out of the danger zone. The shooting had stopped as both cops and robbers had turned to look at the massive structure beginning to crumble. The robbers huddled instinctively into a group, none of them seeing any means of escape as the thunderous rumbling came to a crescendo and the building's base gave way, the walls crumbling as the building broke loose and began to topple.
Chi-Chi sat quietly at her table, frozen stiff as she watched the Saiyan produce the two balls and send them flying. She flinched as the first hit the building, her heart dropping when she realized the seriousness of the situation at hand. When the second made contact with Pikkon, an audible squeak left her throat. She expected to see him blown to bits, but instead, the energy ball seemed to bounce off of his hands and continue around him... directly toward her.
Pikkon's redirecting of the energy ball sped it up and sent it through the front glass of the restaurant, angling upward toward the ceiling tile. It flew in a flash through the place, causing surprisingly little damage as it crossed the large room, but flying through the suspending pole of one of the large, hanging light fixtures, causing it to swing downward, straight toward Chi-Chi's face, still attatched to one of its two poles that held it above Chi-Chi's table.
Chi-Chi screamed and threw her arms up as she twisted in her chair. She couldn't dodge the oncoming fixture because her chair was pulled up close to the table in her mannerly way. In a stroke of luck, however, the fixture stopped short. Its length was just such that it slammed into her bowls of soup and plate full of other foods and proceeded to wedge itself against the sturdy table, holding tight to its other support from the ceiling. Chi-Chi's scream stopped and started again a few moments later, but was no longer one of fear. She was furious as she lowered her arms and saw herself covered with a mixture of the food she was trying so hard to enjoy and the broken dishes that had held it. Just as things got quiet, a large chunk of freshly-powdered concrete fell from the ceiling onto Chi-Chi's hair and the front of her body.
Pikkon knew he couldn't possibly grab all of the robbers and get out of the way in time, but he had learned one trick long ago that might work. It wouldn't be pleasant for them, but he wasn't as concerned about their safety as he was about salvaging the things they had, or at least getting a good look at them. He quickly created a ball of yellow energy and grew it in his hand until it was nearly three feet across.
That should be enough, Pikkon thought, releasing the ball with a yell, sending it straight and fast into the ground several feet from the robbers. The ball exploded and blew a large crater out of the asphalt and ground, opening up a hold that led to the tunnels filled with conduit and wires for the city's infrastructure. The force and debris of the blast hit the robbers hard, throwing them high and far through the air as the building crumbled, the deadly debris coming to a stop only a few yards from where the first of them had stopped bouncing.
Pikkon rushed toward the robbers through the brown cloud of dust and smoke.

The room started to shake as a battle erupted outside. Mentally, she had begun to imagine what would happen to her if she decided to stay in the buffet restaurant to enjoy her food. The green man was portayed as a hero in her vision. When she pictured herself almost being blown to bits and being saved by the green man, this wasn't what caused her to react. It was the vision of seeing herself covered in food and debris that caused her to panic. Her face turned pale when she realized that no amount of buffet food was worth looking a mess. Of course, this was just something that COULD happen if she hadnt moved from her spot like her vision had suggested. Luckily, she was given a slight premonition and decided to act. Everyone at the restaurant and surrounding area were gone. Snapping out of the dreaded day dream of being covered in food and almost almost embarrassed, she rose from her chair and noticed the two fighters going at it outside. They were to blame for her bad lunch in. She had no concept that both of them were aliens, and she had not cared. To her, they were both troublemakers ruining her day off. Finally, she had enough. She grabbed a chair and violently tossed it out of the restaurant at the two who were about to fight. The glass shattered on impact, but that wasn't the worst of it. After she had tossed the chair, she snarled and followed the chair's landing which convienantly landed in between the two delinquent s Her eyes were narrowed and enraged. She barely took notice to the destruction caused by the taller individual. This was what it meant to be oblivious. Nevertheless, she was about to make her presence be known. "Okay you two losers, I have had it! Both of you are ruining my day off. Couldn't you find somewhere else to fight ughhh!" She stood firm in between them, but her anger was split equally between the two. They both got on her nerves.
